Chances are that you are on this page because you’re either in the unfortunate position of going through a divorce or you are seriously thinking of divorcing your wife.
Divorce for men can seem like a really simple process. But get it wrong and the mistakes your make today will have repercussions for years to come.
If I’d had access to some simple but concise divorce advise for men during my own divorce, then the final outcome would have been much – much better! But I’ll tell you more about that in a moment.

Let me tell you about my own divorce… It Sucked!
Before the divorce I owned a lovely home in a very nice area and two other houses which brought in a good rental income. I had a healthy balance in my savings account, an executive car and my pension pot was on target to allow me to retire at 50.
After the divorce, my home was gone, the rental houses were signed over to my ex-wife and subsequently sold with all the profits deposited straight into her bank account. My dream of retiring at 50 was shattered and my savings account was empty.
But worse than any of this – and this is the thing that REALLY hurts – access to my children was restricted to only two weekends a month.
My first reaction to all this was to blame my lawyers… How could they have let this happen to me? They charged me over $10,000 for council and I still had everything I cared for taken away from me.
But… It wasn’t my lawyers fault. It was MINE!
I was lazy and just trusted what my friends were telling me. I went into the divorce without doing any of my own research. I didn’t arm myself with the facts and so left myself wide open to my ex-wife’s unreasonable demands and greed.
Now, I’m a reasonable guy and I was more than happy to give my wife half of the family assets, even though she hadn’t contributed to the family finances – I wanted to be fair.
Unfortunately, I didn’t know that ‘fairness’ plays no part in the legal systems view of divorce.
All of the systems, rules and laws are stacked massively against men. You are NOT automatically entitled to 50% of all assets even if it was you that worked hard and bought all of those assets yourself.
If I was to give divorce advice for men it would simply be to wise up and get ALL the information you need BEFORE you find yourself at the mercy of your wife and her rabid lawyers.
